University of Wisconsin Volleyball Team Aims to Remain Undefeated Against Michigan

The University of Wisconsin volleyball team is determined to maintain its flawless record as they gear up for another Sunday match at the UW Field House. Vanessa Green Sinders Named First Female President of Indiana Chamber of Commerce

Vanessa Green Sinders has been appointed as the first female president of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, becoming the first woman to hold this position in the organization’s 100-year history. Sinders, who has a background in politics and telecommunications, brings a wealth of experience and energy to the role.

The search for a new president began six months ago, with over 100 candidates being considered. Sinders was ultimately chosen, thanks to her impressive qualifications and the unanimous approval of the selection committee. She will take over from current CEO Kevin Brinegar in early January 2024.

They believe that as she travels around the state and meets business leaders, her relatability and personable nature will help her build strong relationships. She also worked for high-profile politicians on Capitol Hill, including former U.S. senator Scott Brown.

In her new role, Sinders will lead the Indiana Chamber’s efforts in achieving their goals outlined in the “Indiana Prosperity 2035 – A Vision for Economic Acceleration” playbook, including improving K-12 outcomes, increasing college attendance rates, and attracting and retaining talent.

Larry Gigerich, executive managing director at Ginovus, said, “There’s a lot of things that we need to do moving forward to make sure Indiana is positioned well, whether it’s economic development, talent attraction, retention, and just having a voice in the public policy process.”
