Before joining Cloud5, Patel spent nine years at Essentra plc, where he held the position of Corporate Development Director. He was responsible for global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategy development, leading to the optimization of the company’s portfolio. In addition, he served as the VP of Finance for the Americas, where he focused on strategic and operational finance matters, driving revenue growth and expanding profit margins.
Patel has a diverse background, including experience in M&A advisory and project finance at KPMG and public policy and strategic finance at the United Kingdom’s HM Treasury. He holds a degree in business mathematics and statistics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).
