Telecoms market in the Croatia country has easily been shaped by the country having joined European Union in the year 2013, the process which resulted in the market liberalization as well as the creation of the regulatory environment that is very conducive to the competition. The alternative operators have gone and entered the market, and there has been an effective competition in fixed line, the mobile markets, and broadband. The operators have been investing in the network infrastructure to be able to support bandwidth-intensive services. As similar with the developments elsewhere in Europe, the investment has been earmarked for the fiber as well as the mobile infrastructure while fixed voice market has continued to dwindle.
