Netizen is a privately held telecommunications company in Argentina. Founded principally by Gonzalo Berra and Javier Diez in 1996, it is now a wholly owned subsidiary of US integrated communications provider SkyOnline, which has operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Mexico and Guatemala. The company provides free ISP services through its Uruguay subsidiary; broadband access using a variety of technologies (ADSL, cable modem, wireless and fiber DSL); as well as hosting and housing services, and call center and corporate web design services.
The Netizen Internet Service is a unique service that has different connection methods, therefore, each client can contract the solution that meets their particular requirements.
The contracted bandwidth is reserved for the client to be assured its availability when requiring it. It is not shared with other customers as it could be on a broadband service.
These high quality links are designed and mounted on Netizen's own network and to navigate at speeds ranging from 64 Kbps to 155 Mbps meeting the most demanding service level agreements (SLA).
