Inari has announced the appointment of Lara Smith Weber as their new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from October 1. Smith Weber is currently serving as the CFO for ONWARD Medical, a medical technology company, and brings over 20 years of finance, accounting, and strategy experience from various publicly traded life science and telecommunications companies in the US and Europe.
The CEO of Inari, Ponsi Trivisvavet, expressed confidence in Smith Weber’s ability to navigate the company’s rapid growth, stating that her expertise will contribute to their clear and predictable pathway to profitability. Smith Weber has previously held financial leadership positions at MorphoSys AG, where she led its Nasdaq IPO, and has also worked for Telefonica Germany and Booz Allen Hamilton consulting firm. She holds a BA in German studies, a BS and MSc in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland.
Smith Weber will be based at Inari’s headquarters in Cambridge, Mass., and will be replacing Stuart Brown, who has been serving as an advisor since stepping down as CFO earlier this year.
