Reynolds believes that the trustee’s office plays a crucial role in providing assistance to the community, whether it’s operating a food pantry or offering utility assistance. He finds great fulfillment in helping people and giving them a helping hand.

Prior to entering public office, Reynolds worked in notable roles in local, state, and federal government. He started as an intern for the Office of the Indiana State Treasurer and later served as a community liaison and director of external affairs for Lake County native Todd Rokita, both in his congressional office and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.

From 2017 to 2020, Reynolds served as the director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the U.S. Department of Education, where he maintained relationships with elected officials across the country.
