European streaming joint venture SkyShowtime has announced the appointment of Mark Neil as chief financial officer (CFO). Neil, currently serving as CFO at A+E Networks EMEA, will assume his new role in January. He brings over three decades of experience in media and telecommunications, having worked at companies such as News Corporation, Thomson Reuters, and Scripps Networks. Neil will be based in London and will report to SkyShowtime CEO Monty Sarhan.
Francesca Pierce, the current CFO, will transition to the newly created position of chief administration officer. She will begin her new role in January, while continuing to report to Sarhan. Prior to joining SkyShowtime, Pierce held executive positions at Sky. In her new role, she will focus on maximizing operational and financial performance, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring clear goals throughout the organization.
SkyShowtime’s recent appointments also include Kai Finke as chief content officer, joining from Netflix. The company is entering a phase of rapid growth following its launch and aims to execute with speed and efficiency.
SkyShowtime is a joint venture between Comcast and Paramount Global. It offers streaming services across Europe and is expanding its content offerings. Both Neil and Pierce’s appointments reflect the company’s commitment to driving its business forward and scaling new ventures successfully.
