T. Rowe Price has announced Ramon Richards as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Richards took on the role on September 5, 2023, and is responsible for overseeing technology business solutions, technology services, and enterprise architecture functions.
Prior to joining T. Rowe Price, Richards served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Fannie Mae. In this position, he led the digital transformation efforts and had responsibilities across various areas such as software engineering, cybersecurity, enterprise data, infrastructure, and technology shared services. He also held leadership positions within Fannie Mae, including Senior Vice President of Integrated Technology Solutions and Senior Vice President of Securitization and Credit Technology.
Ramon Richards holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a B.S. in electrical engineering-telecommunications from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in mathematics from Morehouse College. Additionally, he completed an Executive Development Program at Harvard Business School.
